An important issue that sometimes we are not aware of: “We get so involved in time management that we forget energy management.”
Energy management is an important issue that directly affects people’s time management and productivity.
For example, we don’t ask ourselves, do I really have to work at maximum pressure all my waking hours? Or is it better to devote hours to recuperation and rest to increase my efficiency and performance at work?
Spend enough time for each task and take time to rest. Don’t let precious time slip away easily.
The main problem with working long hours is that, time is a limited resource. But the issue of energy is different, energy in physics is defined as the capacity to do work.
Energy in humans comes from four sources:
- Body (physical energy)
- Emotions (emotional energy)
- mind (concentration)
- and the soul
Suppose you have one hour to solve a problem. Is it really the best way to stay focused on the same problem for 60 minutes? Isn’t it better to deliberately and consciously reduce this one hour to 45 minutes and consider the middle 15 minutes as rest time? Wouldn’t your chances of solving the problem be higher in this case?
Due to the importance of energy management and its direct impact on more people’s productivity, Pendulum has provided an interesting solution:
In Pendulums Time Tracker app, you can set alarms for rest time as you wish, for example, for 40 minutes of work, 10 minutes of rest. You can set this notification as your prefer so that in addition to time management, you can also manage energy.

I do agree with all the ideas you’ve presented in your post. They’re very convincing and will certainly work. Still, the posts are too short for beginners. Could you please extend them a bit from next time? Thanks for the post.
I have been absent for some time, but now I remember why I used to love this site. Thank you, I will try and check back more often. How frequently you update your web site?
Hi, thanks for your attention, about per 15 days.
